So today we got our first bout of severe weather here in Central Texas. Typically this is a time for excitement around our home as the colder gusts of wind and rain are really fun to watch as it rolls it. Only this time right after the rain started we heard a loud thud on the roof, then another, then another. Next thing we know it looks like Tiger Woods is a few hundred yards away with his rapid-fire golf ball gun right into our house and yard! We had golf ball sized hail fall for about 5-10 minutes and while it wasn't totally covering the ground, you can see from the pictures below it was pretty well covered. Both cars have a few dents (the F-150 fared much better than the Toyota) and I'm sure there's a lot of damage to our roof - we are actually happy about the roof because now hopefully we can get a color that we actually like... Anyway, enjoy the pics of our first run-in with mother nature in the fun weather this is in Central Texas. Now where's the number for the insurance company?
