Valentine's Day was pretty low key for us this year, but definitely one of the best ones we have ever had. Mike made me heart shaped pancakes for breakfast and bought me beautiful pink roses. What a loving and thoughtful husband! The rest of the day consisted of us hanging around the house with Benett and going to pick up Benett's 3 month pictures from the photo studio. Uncle Matt also stopped by for a little while in the afternoon.
Mike planned out and made a delicious dinner for us as well. We had hummus and pita bread for an appetizer, bacon-wrapped grilled shrimp, rice pilaf and grilled veggies for dinner, and we ended with mini cheesecakes covered in chocolate. Actually, the mini cheesecakes didn't get eaten until this morning because we were too full from dinner to eat them last night. They were DE-LISH even the next day!I love you, husband! Thank you for making me feel so loved and special on Valentine's Day and EVERY day!
