We have been home for almost a week, and we are settling into our new schedule (or should I say lack of one). Mike headed back to work this week as well. It has definitely been an adjustment as we figure out sleeping and eating schedules. Benett has been staying awake more during the day which has allowed us to have some play time and enjoy some of the wonderful gifts given to us.
Benett also had his first doctor appointment in Austin this past Monday. He gained 5 oz since we left the hospital and officially weighed in at 5 lbs 12 oz (probably 6 lbs by now). Mike and I were very happy to see that his weight moved in the right direction and the doctor had all good things to say about Benett's progress / health.
We are so happy that Nana (my mom) has been staying with us this week. She has been a BIG help with everything from feeding, cleaning, cooking, organizing the nursery, and holding Benett (which she would do 24 hrs a day if she could)! Thanks Mom for all your help!
