Just wanted to put up a quick post to let you know we are back in Austin. We got back Friday night at 8:30. It took us a little over 4 hours to make the trip since we had to stop in Waco to feed and change the little one. It feels so good to finally be home. Benett is doing great and we almost have the nursery completely set up. It's funny because he actually spends very little time there right now since he sleeps in the pack-n-play bassinet in our room. Amanda's parents came down with us and have been such a blessing. It's great to have extra hands around so that we can get everything that needs to be done knocked out while helping a 2 week old get adjusted to living at home!
By the way, happy two-week birthday Benett! Two weeks ago right now, we were sitting in a hospital room waiting to get test results and hear the good doctor's recommendation on what to do next. Also, Benett has been a chow-hound. While we were in the hospital, the goal was 50mL of milk 8 x a day. Yesterday Amanda's mom got him to take down 78!
