Google Street View Comes to Austin

I was pumped today to see that Google has implemented their Street View in Google Maps throughout Austin. This is a technology where google drives down streets in a vehicle while taking 360 degree images at different points along the road. This gives users the ability to get a street level view of different locations within Google Maps.

If you know our address, you can put into google maps and click the street view button. Here are a couple of interesting things to note:

• You know it's winter because the plants out front are covered to protect them from the freeze.
• That white truck parked on the curb? That's Amanda's brother Matt's truck - he's probably taking a nap or watching TV inside.
• It's garbage day and so far the recycling truck has already come by, but the garbage truck hasn't!
