We recently visited Steve, Tina, Patton and Katarina in Tampa. Benett experienced his first airplane ride and did a wonderful job. Luckily, the ear popping and extreme turbulence we had landing in Tampa didn't bother him a bit. He actually giggled quite a bit during some of the worst turbulence I have ever experienced, probably because it made his stomach feel funny. Mike and I were trying to stay light hearted and keep Benett from focusing on the lady behind us crying and worrying about the extreme drops and shifts of the airplane. Anyway, we landed safely and had a great time hanging out with our fam in Tampa.
We did some fun things while we were there: Mike read to Patton's kindergarten class, we went to Patton's end of school picnic, we hung out with Oma and Opa, we went swimming, the boys did a lot of fishing in the neighborhood pond, we read stories to Katarina at bedtime, we played the Wii, and we ate a ton of great food. Thanks so much for all the wonderful hospitality during our visit! We can't wait to see you again soon!
